Clinical Practice Guidelines for Primary Care for Older Persons, Families, and Communities
Practical guidance for primary care teams serving older people in low- and middle-income settings. The Brief identifies gaps in service delivery, workforce skills and policy, and shifts the focus from single diseases to multiple long-term conditions.
It sets out preventive, community-based and gender-sensitive approaches that are scalable and culturally appropriate, drawing on case studies from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Yemen and Tunisia.
